Hi, I'm Bansi.
If you have ever cried in the car after nursery drop off, or worked out how many hours of annual leave you need just to make a sports day, I know exactly how that feels.
For years I gave my best to everyone else all day, and my children got what was left of me.
Then one day my child came home and said, "Mummy, I looked for you, but I couldn't find you."
That broke my heart. As a child I used to search the crowd for my own mum too, knowing she was working because she had to.
That was the moment I stopped trying to squeeze my children into the gaps between work commitments.
I wanted to be there.
For the assemblies.
For sports day.
For the school holidays.
For the small moments that feel ordinary at the time, and later turn out to be everything.
I also wanted something of my own. Creative, meaningful, and earning properly. Not asking permission for time off from someone else's schedule.
So I left banking over ten years ago, discovered 3D casting, and slowly built it into a business I love.
And I got back something money could not buy.
Time.
Time to be there.
Time to be present. Time to enjoy my children while they were small.
My boys are grown now, and the years I was actually there for are the ones I would not trade.
They do not stay little for long. Work tends to still be there.
Today I teach other mums to build their own 3D casting business from home, so the income fits around the family, rather than the family being squeezed around a job.
